Christine joined Concert Properties, a diversified Canadian real estate owner and developer, in September 2023 as President & CEO. She is a highly respected, strategic and values-based leader, whose personable style aligns with Concert Properties’ people-first culture. She brings more than 25 years’ experience building and leading financial firms where she guided their strategic development while fostering prudent risk management and thoughtful stakeholder relations. 

Over her career, Christine has led wealth management, business banking and commercial real estate portfolios, has financed innovative companies as a venture capitalist and has experience in asset management. She is also a proven entrepreneur who has both created and helped build successful financial firms and this entrepreneurial perspective has continued to inform her solutions-oriented approach as a leader. 

Prior to joining the company, she was the President & CEO of Vancity, Canada’s largest credit union with over $33 billion in assets under administration.

Christine is passionate about education, entrepreneurship and equity. Her achievements both in business and in fostering community impact, social justice and environmental sustainability have earned her numerous accolades.

She has been the recipient of several prestigious awards. She was a BC Power 50 winner in 2023, and in 2022 was named by BC Business as the winner of the Corporate Leader category in the Women of the Year Awards, and also received the Business in Vancouver Influential Woman in Business Award. In 2019 she was listed as one of BC's Most Influential Women in Finance. For her efforts in embedding sustainability into business she received Canada's Clean 50 and Clean 16 Awards in 2016.
Current Board work includes UBC’s Sauder School of Business Faculty Advisory Board, Chair of InBC Investment Corporation and Board member with Aviso Wealth.
Her educational background includes a BA in Sociology from the University of Guelph, an MBA in Strategic Management from UBC and a Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation from the Canadian Securities Institute.

An avid athlete with a diverse set of interests, she can usually be found with her family enjoying all that Vancouver has to offer – running, hiking, skiing and cycling.
